Balkancs.pro to host the first Balkan League

After announcing that the BalkanCS.pro community is starting to work, we are ready to share one more big piece of news: the first season of the Balkan Pro League is set to start.

With the ultimate goal to build the Balkan scene from scratch and create a sustainable ecosystem, we are going to host four seasons per year. The league will be divided into two divisions so every team will have an opportunity to play in a competitive environment throughout the year.

The league’s unique format makes every round important and brings constant excitement and a high level of Counter Strike.

The first phase of the league:
– Four group stages (two groups of 4, double elimination)
– Each group stage carries 190 points per group distributed as follows:
1st place: 100p
2nd place: 50p
3rd place: 25p
4th place: 15p
– Points collected in group stages determine teams’ placement in the overall ranking

Overall Ranking:
After group stages are completed, the top four teams in the overall ranking proceed to playoffs, 5th and 6th placed teams secure the next season slot, while the bottom two teams get relegated.

Playoffs:
The top four teams from the overall ranking will fight for the title in the single elimination playoffs.

Prizes:
1. $1,000
2. $500

The Balkan Amateur League’s second division will be played in the open system with 8 regular season games leading to the single elimination playoffs. Sign-ups for the BAL will be open right after the BPL qualifiers end.
