Romania and Serbia won their spots for the final tournament through the Eastern European qualifiers, while the kosovo team secured their place by winning the Western European qualifiers.
With wins against Belarus and Serbia with an identical score of 2:0 and two defeats against Ukraine, Romania finished third in the Eastern European qualifiers and secured one of the slots that brought them to the final tournament.
